How can I share my voice?
In this FAQ you can learn how to share your thoughts and opinions with Representative Yang Rohr and the Illinois government. If you have further questions, please contact info@repyangrohr.com
We have Citizen's Advisory Panels (CAPs) twice a year. They are split into 7 topics: senior issues, economic development, environment, education, women's issues, healthcare, and diversity & inclusion. At each CAP we go over what legislation has recently passed and answer any questions on those bills, we talk about bills that are currently in discussion to get your thoughts and opinions on them, and people share ideas for new legislation that could help the community. You can find out about upcoming CAPs on our Events page (https://www.repyangrohr.com/events)or by filling out the Informed & Involved Survey (https://www.repyangrohr.com/survey)to be notified when they are approaching.

Whether you are sending us an email or calling us, we always make a note of your thoughts and opinions. If your communication is about legislation, we will add it to our database. The database includes who sent the communication, what legislation they are talking about, if they are generally for or against it, whether or not they are a constituent, and more details of their opinion. Representative Yang Rohr can then look at this database before voting to understand what the community thinks of a specific piece of legislation.
In addition to attending the CAPs, emailing, and calling, we also have monthly Coffee and Conversations where you can talk with Representative Yang Rohr and other constituents to further share your voice. We also have town halls where the Representative goes over the past session and answers questions. You can also touch base with Representative Yang Rohr at any of our monthly events. You can find more information about our upcoming events on this page: repyangrohr.com/events.(https://www.repyangrohr.com/events)
