Illinois and our local city, township, and county municipalities provide a number of resources for a wide variety of people. Please contact the below organizations directly for more details on their services, and feel free to contact us if you we can help you navigate any of these resources.

NaperPride

NaperPride is a group that focuses on the LGBTQ+ community in Naperville and hosts events and discussions. Learn more about them at their website: www.naperpride.org

Naperville Neighbors Unite

Early Intervention Programs

The Illinois Early Intervention Program is for families who believe their child under 3 may have a delay in development. For more information, visit their website or this guide for parents

Special Recreation Associations

Special Recreation Associations provide inclusion services in addition to recreation programs for people of all ages with disabilities.

Caring Hands

Naperville's Caring Hands program is to give Naperville residents the option of providing information about their or  their loved ones' disabilities to first responders. This helps first responders to be able to better assist them during emergency, or non-emergency, situations. Disabilities Resources

The City of Naperville has a page on their website (www.naperville.il.us/services/accessibility-resources) that has a wide variety of resources available to those with disabilities, many of which are not limited to Naperville residents.

Bolingbrook Park District has inclusion services and a list of inclusive playgrounds which can be found at www.bolingbrookparks.org/about/accessibility.
 

In addition, www.illinoisable.com is an organization whose goal is to help people "build financial wellness without risking much-needed federal government benefits."

Developmental Disabilities Services Rate Study

This study was done by Guidehouse and was presented in 2020. In this report, Guidehouse recommends new rate methodologies for a variety of services that are offered to people with developmental disabilities in Illinois. To read the report, visit this link.
