Legislative Survey

January 2022

Dear Neighbor,

There's a lot of work to be done to move Illinois forward, and I know the commonsense voices of our community need to be heard in the Capitol now more than ever.

During my first year representing our families, I have taken the conversations I've had with so many of you at your doors or at community events, and I've gotten results:  I've prioritized broad economic development and additional support for our world class schools.  I worked to revitalize our economy by investing in new jobs that also build a clean energy future.  And I'm fighting to ease the burden on our middle-class families, including more affordable health care, prescription drugs, and child care.

There's a lot more work to be done, and I'm not done making our voices heard.  I hope you'll take a moment to complete this survey so we can continue building a stronger Illinois together.

Legislative Survey

As your representative in Springfield, I need to know your priorities so I can proceed with major legislation that will define the path we take as a state.

I’ve set up a survey to better understand how best to represent our community’s voice. Please take the survey and pass it on to others in our District.

1.  Please rank what you believe the state Legislature should focus on:

Budget & taxes

COVID relief

Crime and public safety

Economic recovery

Education

Government reform

Environment

Reducing health care costs

Women's Issues

2.  What should be the top priorities when crafting a state budget?

3.  Which of these reforms would most improve ethics and transparency in state government?

4.  What would you most like to change about the way state government operates?  What efficiencies and/or legislation do you think should be implemented?

Thank you for taking the time to let me know what matters to you.

Thanks for submitting!
